Please know that most of the time the Dollar Tree mugs are NOT good for sublimation.
So if you want to take the chance, make sure you save the receipt and double check you can return them all.

Can I sublimate on any mug?
If the coffee mug is glazed ceramic you should be able to sublimation print without any coating at all. If the product that you want to print on is not ceramic, there are other techniques available, such as water-slide decal, ink transfer and many more.
Can you sublimate onto glass?
Normal glass can be sublimated but it needs to be sprayed with a sub coating first – and, if i remember correctly, printers don’t print white (hence most substrates have a white background) so any graphic with white in them, wont show the white colour on glass.
